The Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) regularly supports hosting weekends for refugees and asylum seekers to visit the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, and meeting local farmer and communities. This work has resulted in the YDMT receiving a No2H8 crime award. The Trust received the Sheikh Abdullah Award for Intercultural Dialogue.
